NEGLECT AND A FALLING CAMEL

Down to earth with a bump!!
Last Friday I felt like I had turned a corner when doing my best timed sets with 2 x 28KG bells. And then on Tuesday I did my current best in the Snatch with a 26KG bell.
I then assumed that today's Long Cycle training was going to be a doddle (relatively speaking)......I thought wrong. After neglecting Long Cycle training for a little while I found that grabbing 2x26KG bells in today's session has brought me back down to earth with a bump. The engine had de-tuned.....I need to get back up to speed!! My results gave me the right "hump" and I do not intend to lose sight of my goals and neglect my training in GS.

I will mainly concentrate on the Biathlon work plus supporting exercises and fitness but I will make sure from this point onward that I don not lose sight of the basics and keep in touch with the Long Cycle element of the sport.

Below are videos of some of the sports greatest Long Cycle competition lifters. Something to aspire to!!
Ivan Denisov - Absolute Champion of the world 116REPS

Fedir Fuglev
(
He had completed 121 jerks and 175 snatches the previous day. Note - he doesn't use chalk)

  ENJOY!!
