With only 22 days left until the annual Welsh Open Biathlon competition in Cardiff, things here at the Brighton Girevoy Sport Club are hotting up. Numerous injuries and sporadic team training will not stop us from performing at this great event. The travelling team will by myself, Andrew, Silvia and new member to the team Jane.Training this Friday will include a couple of new members to the team in Matt and Martin so I hope to get these guys competing within the next few months.
The team is growing slowly and because, as we all know, this is a very tough sport and not everybody's cup of tea so numbers will never be massive. But those who do step up to the plate will soon get a recognition and respect from others within the sport. This is a mental and physical test, do not mistake it for a anything else!!
