Unfortunately Brigton Girevoy Sport Club will not be attending the All Ireland Kettlebell Championships in Kilkenny at the end of this month (JULY 23rd).
But do not fear as we will be focussing on the next Biathlon competition in the UK which is being held by Hells Kettlebells in Cardiff in October.
This will give us all plenty of time to work on our technique and our numbers and with any luck we will have a few more guys coming to compete with us.
We currently have a good number of people coming to train on a Friday.

This is great as numbers are slowly increasing and more and more people are contacting me almost daily and enquiring about the sport and coming down to train with us.....this is very positive and it will only help the sport grow.

Has the Cardiff competition set a date yet? Is it an open meet? I'm looking for a competition somewhere in Europe in September or October. We have long cycle competitions in Finland on 27th of August and 5th of November. I want to compete once between those two.

ReplyDeletefunny you should ask. I just emailed the guys at Helle Kettlebells and asked them to confirm a date. They should be holding a competition.
Last year the date was October 31st. I will keep you posted when I find out more information.
I wish I could make it to Finland but am away on holiday that week in August.The comp in Novemer maybe a better option for me. But all dependent on the timing of the Welsh Open.
