DON'T FAIL ME NOW!!!

With just over six weeks until the next GS Biathlon comp in the UK I started training today after a break due to illness. This was only my second session since the Long Cycle comp in Kilkenny.

It went better than planned. My intention was to record a seven minute jerk set with the 24s. This felt pretty good.
Numbers:
9-8-8-8-8-8-9 = 58.

Considering the last time I competed in a Biathlon comp I managed 67, and used every second of the ten mins to get there. I felt strong and think maybe if I keep going I could possibly hit 90-95 by may.

I then finished my training with a three minute, and two minute set using the 28s.
Numbers:
3 mins: 4-4-4
2 mins: 5-4

Pretty pleased with that and only felt a slight twinge in my wrist with the plate in it. So fingers crossed I've turned the corner with that issue.

Snatch training tomorrow lunchtime with fellow Girevik Mr Pea.....looks like it's gonna be tough. Snatches are not a natural lift for me.
